The new season kicks off this weekend (August 22nd) for the Soccer Sevens, while the 11-a-side teams kicked off last weekend. The popularity of Mid Calder Colts Community Football Club has led to the club entering 9 teams into various leagues across the 7 and 11-a-side game.

If you add in the 2002s who will be joining the WLSS Soccer 4s programme, and the 2003s, who will be starting their training with the Soccer School, then you can see it's huge number of kids who have taken up the game, with the Mid Calder Colts.  

With the on going work being carried out to both school and Village pitches, all teams will have to make alternate arrangements to play 'home' matches elsewhere until such times (hopefully a month or two) as the parks are available again. 

Good luck to all our teams for the forthcoming season, but especially to the 2001s and the 1999 Reds who both make their league debuts this weekend.
