Monday 1st September 2008 saw the start of the Mid Calder Soccer School, when we took 10 kids from the Primary 2 class and started their football training. Sessions ran at East Calder sports centre (outside on the astro turf) on a monday evening from 6-7pm (£2.50 per child) up until Monday 1st December and it proved to be extremely popular with excellent attendance and enthusiasm shown by all the kids. The soccer school has now resumed back at East Calder up until the end of March, when we will switch to training the kids back in Mid Calder again. We will update the parents about the new arrangements nearer the time. 

The Soccer School kids took part in the Colts 10 pin bowling day, held at Deer Park on Saturday 6th December and here is a photo taken that day, with the kids proudly showing off their new Colts jackets.
