Mid Calder Colts 2000 attended the Caledonian Youth Club Football Festival on Sunday June 20th in Prestwick and did the club proud with an excellent display from all concerned. After an overnight stay, the boys played 5 games, winning 3, drawing 2 and scoring seven goals in the process while only conceeding one.  

As well putting on a good footballing display, all the games played were marked for fair play and out of the 20 participating teams from all over Scotland, the Mid Calder boys (as well as coaches and parents) were chosen for their sporting behaviour.   

In keeping with the fair play winning theme, the WLYAFC also recognised the Mid Calder 1995s and 1994s for their displays by awarding those teams the fair play award for their respective leagues.
